payment policy
Payment Policy
Purchasing fine jewelry is a significant decision, and we want the payment process to feel just as trustworthy as the piece itself. Here's how payment works when you shop or commission a piece with us.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, [debit cards, PayPal, and other methods — confirm which processors/methods the store actually supports before publishing]. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways, and we do not store your complete card details on our servers.
Payment in Full
For in-stock and ready-to-ship pieces, full payment is required at the time of purchase to confirm your order.
Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Because custom work involves sourcing specific stones and materials, and reserving artisan time for your piece, we require a deposit of [X]% at the time your order is confirmed, with the remaining balance due [before shipment / upon completion — confirm which]. Your deposit secures the materials and production slot dedicated to your piece and is reflected in your final invoice.
Currency
All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address, in accordance with California and applicable state tax law.
Payment Security
We take the security of your payment information seriously. All transactions are encrypted and processed through PCI-compliant payment providers, and no payment data is ever shared or sold to third parties.
Declined or Failed Payments
If a payment is declined or fails to process, your order will not be confirmed until payment has been successfully completed. We'll reach out if we're unable to process your transaction so we can help resolve the issue.
Questions About Your Payment
